Learning Nursery

Caring for our littlest Learners

We offer childcare for infants and toddlers from 6 weeks to 4 years of age every Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour and during worship from 9am-11:15am.

Dedicated Staff

Our Learning Nursery is staffed by the wonderful Ms. Tracey and her assistant, Raven. Having a consistent childcare team helps kids feel comfortable and know what to expect each week.

Nursery children join us in worship for the Children's Sermon with Pastor Ginger each week as well, which is a wonderful way to engage them in the life of the church in an age-appropriate way!

Training

The teachers and volunteers in this class uphold the standards of our Safer Sanctuaries Training, which aims to prevent child abuse by ensuring there are always multiple responsible adults present when children are around. Our Learning Nursery is equipped with developmentally-appropriate toys, books, and craft supplies that can support children from infancy through toddlerhood. Children are invited to use open-ended toys such as blocks, cars, baby dolls, tools, and pretend food to engage in imaginative play. This lively bunch is known for their art projects, singing, and games with balloons, playdough, or bubbles!
