Finding Christian community is such an important part of Church participation. Take a look at our groups below to see where you might fit. If you are interested in joining any of these classes or groups, reach out to our ministry assistant for information or just join us at the specified time!

young adults MINISTRY

Young Women's Bible Study

This newly formed Sunday School class is composed of women in varying stages of their young adult life, from singles to newlyweds to parents with young children. They are currently reading the Bible in a Year as a class, but you do not have to be caught up to join in on the discussion or to come to connect and pray for each other!

Young adults ministry

Young Men's Bible Study

This newly formed Sunday School class is the counterpart to our women's group and is composed of men in varying stages of their young adult life, from singles to newlyweds to parents with young children. They are currently reading the Bible in a Year as a class, but you do not have to be caught up to join in on the discussion.

Adult Sunday School

Agape Class

This class is one of two groups for seasoned adults that meet during the Sunday School hour. They often use Cokesbury's Seasonal devotion books for Sunday School classes as their curriculum.

New Communicators

This class is one of two groups for seasoned adults that meet during the Sunday School hour. Our curriculum focuses on reading and discussing books by the Methodist Pastor and author James Moore.

JOY!

Goes to lunch

JOY is a group focused on building community through social and cultural experiences. They love to get outside the walls of the church together to try out local restaurants, see plays and concerts, and take tours of historic or natural sites. This group meets one Saturday a month, and you can learn about upcoming JOY trips by checking out the Church Calendar.

Faith Formation

Learning in Faith Together

Our LIFT book study groups are led by Pastor Ginger, focusing on the content of a selected faith formation book. Our current study group will meet on on Wednesdays at 1pm beginning on August 26th to discuss the participant copy of the book The Bible With and Without Jesus by Amy-Jill Levine and Mark Zvi Brettler. This group will run for 6 weeks.
